Ascet Shipping Mykolaiv branch received new crop wheat
The Mykolaiv branch of Ascet Shipping received the first shipment of new crop grain.
"We have received 25 thou. t of new crop wheat. The first vessel is loaded today (July 7 – ed.), the second will be loaded tomorrow," says Kirill Palivoda, the director of the Mykolaiv branch.
The company informs that in the new marketing year it will continue with agreements concluded with the international agro-industrial corporations, including Archer Daniels Midland Company, Cargill, Millcorp.
The branch's cargo turnover in the previous season totalled 1.4 mln t, of which 0.2 mln t were sunflower meal.
Refinitiv analysts reduced the forecast for wheat harvest in Ukraine in 2020/21 by 2% to 26.3 mln t compared to the previous forecast as a result of hot and dry weather in the central and northern regions of the country.
