Ukrainian egg producers admitted to Ethiopia's market

Ukraine and Ethiopia have reached an agreement on a form of health certificate for the export of edible eggs, the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection (SSUFSCP) reports.

The Ukrainian egg producers are now authorized for exports to this country.

"Through the joint efforts of the state and business, we are expanding the geography of our country's exports, and on our part, we are doing everything possible to maintain our country's image as a reliable trading partner," said Vladyslava Magaletska, head of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection.

It is also noted that the SSUFSCP is in the process of opening up markets of other African countries for the export of edible eggs and egg products, including Ghana, Morocco, Algeria, Angola and South Africa.

Previously reported that eggs production in Ukraine in January 2021 amounted to 1.018 bln, 16.3% YoY.
