Bankruptcy case open against oilseed crushing plant in Ukraine

On November 22, 2021, the bankruptcy proceeding was opened by the Economic Court of Odesa region, the case No. 916/3345/21 on the bankruptcy of Odesa Oil Extraction Plant, Finbalance reports.

Ukreximbank is the initiator of this procedure. The amount of its claims is UAH 4.2 bln.

The Kyiv Economic Court partially satisfied the claim of Ukreximbank to Odesa Oil Extraction Plant in case No. 916/36/16 and ruled to recover UAH 3.6 bln from the defendant in favour of the plaintiff. The companies Kreativ and Regionproduct-Ukraine are the guarantors.

Previously reported that Illichivsk Oil and Fat Plant was declared bankrupt in early October 2021.

In early 2021, Kernel Holding S.A. was tried to be found bankrupt by the ex-owner of STIOMI-Holding in the District Court of Luxembourg. Mikhail Stadnik applied for recognition of Kernel Holding S.A. bankrupt with the Luxembourg Court in December 2020. The company denied all allegations.
