Cygnet finished corn harvesting at 10.1 t/ha of average yield

Cygnet Agrocompany reported the completion of the harvesting campaign 2021. The company marks it managed to improve yield indicators in the majority of cultivated crops.

Corn reached the ever-highest for Cygnet indicator — 10.1 t/ha. Soybean actual yield stood at 3.5 t/ha.

"Winter wheat yielded 7.4 t/ha, the 4-year highest indicator. Sugar beet was harvested at 40 t/ha. In its first season in the company's fields, sunflower yielded 3.4 t/ha of actual yield," the company says in a statement.

Cygnet Agrocompany's cropping plan in 2021 was formed by:

  • corn 55%
  • sunflower 19%
  • sugar beet 12%
  • winter wheat 7%
  • soybean 6%
  • forage crops 1%

Cygnet cultivates 29 thou. ha in Zhytomyr and Vinnytsya regions.

Previously NIBULON reported the average yield of corn at 8.5 t/ha in the 2021 production season.
