Kernel acquires vegetable oil export terminal in Pivdenny

In December 2022, Kernel acquired edible oils transshipment terminal in the port of Pivdenny, the company's Q2 FY2023 report reads.

"Kernel has successfully completed the acquisition of a 100% stake in the edible oil transshipment terminal located in the port of Pivdenny (Odesa region, Black Sea)," the message reads.

The transaction value was estimated at USD 19.8 mln.

The terminal has 49.4 thou. t of sunflower oil storage capacity, the company adds.

Kernel practically refused from using the alternative channels of exporting grain by truck or railways.

The other two export terminals are located in the port of Chornomorsk: TransBulkTerminal and TransGrainTerminal.
