Ukraine remained key sunflower oil exporter in 2022: Kernel CEO Osypov

Defying the war started by russia, Ukraine remained the major sunflower oil and non-GMO products exporter in 2022.
"Primary outcome is that Ukraine has survived, remaining a reliable and the world's largest exporter of sunflower oil. Therefore, it is crucial that the grain initiative continues further, and its efficiency increases," stated Kernel’s CEO Yevhen Osypov live on Bloomberg.
Last year, Ukraine was the world's top exporter of non-GMO products and retains its position as a trusted supplier of food to the poorest countries in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
Over 1.15 mln t of sunoil was exported from Ukraine via the grain corridor as of March 1.
