Another grain elevator was destroyed by russian guided bombs in Ukraine on Saturday, April 8. A granary in Beryslav, Kherson region, was under attack.

"The enemy continues to shell Kherson region with guided bombs — Beryslav district was under attack. Last night [April 8 – ed.], russian aviation dropped explosives on an elevator in Beryslav. The building suffered major damage," Kherson Region Military Administration said in a statement.

Before the full-scale invasion, grain storage capacity in Ukraine totalled 56.6 mln t. Between February 24, 2022, and November 2022, the number of potentially destroyed or damaged storage facilities reached 77, representing 9.4 mln t.
