russia launched another attack on Odesa region port infrastructure

On the night of August 2, russia launched another attack with Shahed-136 kamikaze drones from the Azov Sea through the Black Sea, targeting the southern part of Odesa region. The russians aimed at the port and industrial infrastructure in the region, the Operational Command "South" reported on Facebook.

"Air defence forces worked non-stop for almost 3 hours. The attack caused fires at industrial and port facilities and damaged a grain elevator," the statement reads.

As of 5:30 a.m., no casualties were reported.

The Odesa region Prosecutor's Office is documenting the consequences of russia's attack on the port infrastructure.

The grain elevator and warehouses, tanks of one of the cargo terminals, production, storage and administrative premises were damaged and destroyed.

An investigation has been launched.
