Bulgarian Parliament voted to drop ban on Ukraine farm products import after September 15

The National Assembly of Bulgaria resolved to support the lifting of the ban on imports of Ukrainian agricultural products after September 15, Bntnews.bg writes.

With 124 votes in favour, MPs agreed that the ban on grain (wheat, corn, sunflower and rapeseed) imports from Ukraine, which expires on September 15, should not be extended. This decision was opposed by 69 MPs.

The National Association of Grain Producers of Bulgaria opposes this decision.

Earlier, oilseeds processors said there may be raw materials shortage.
