Winter rapeseed planted in 18 regions of Ukraine, growers covered over 530 thou. ha

Winter crops planting in Ukraine for the 2025 harvest was completed on 639.9 thou. ha as of September 10. As reported by the Ministry of Agriculture, the winter rapeseed campaign is in progress in 18 regions, of which three regions — Volyn, Rivne and Ternopil — have completed it.
Sown areas by winter crops as of September 10:
- rapeseed — 534.7 thou. ha
- wheat — 101.1 thou. ha
- barley — 3.7 thou. ha
- rye — 0.4 thou. ha
For the 2024 harvest, winter crops covered 6.34 million hectares.
