MHP makes first pipeline supply of biomethane to Germany

On 11 February, MHP exported biomethane to Europe for the first time, delivering 27.4 thousand cubic metres, the Public Union Global 100% RE Ukraine reports.
MHP's company has become the second Ukrainian company to export biomethane to the EU.
The biomethane was exported via gas pipelines across the Ukrainian-Polish border to Germany. Vitol is the buyer of the biomethane.
On 7 February 2025, for the first time, biomethane produced by Vitagro in Ukraine from 100% livestock waste was exported to Germany as a “test delivery” in the amount of 720 MWh (~68,000 m³).
