Astarta’s H1 sales decline across most segments except milk

Astarta’s sales declined across most product categories in the first half of 2025, with the exception of milk, according to the company’s latest report.

Sales of sugar fell by 29% year-on-year to 149.4 thousand tons, while the average selling price dropped by 5% to UAH 23,503/t.

Corn sales halved to 151.5 thousand tons (-55% y/y), although the average price increased by 20% to UAH 9,722/t.

Wheat sales plummeted by 92% to just 6.6 thousand tons, with a modest 4% rise in the average price.

Sunflower seed sales dropped by 20% to 16 thousand tons, but prices more than doubled (+117%) to UAH 28,697/t.

Sales of soybean oil decreased by 13%, while the average price rose by 46%.

Soybean meal sales remained flat year-on-year (+0%), though the average price declined by 14%.

Milk was the only product to show both volume (+2%) and price (+19%) growth, with the average selling price reaching UAH 19,284/t.

Additionally, the company reported no rapeseed sales during H1 2025, compared to over 20 thousand tonnes sold in the same period last year.
