Ukraine’s agro-exports rise in August driven by wheat and rapeseed
In August, Ukraine exported 4 million tons of agricultural products, up 15.6% from the previous month, as the harvested crop volumes increased, stimulating export activity, the Ukrainian Agribusiness Club (UCAB) reported.
Exports of grains (driven by wheat) and oilseeds (driven by rapeseed) grew, while shipments of processed oil products declined due to lower processing volumes at the end of the season.
The structure of Ukraine’s agro-exports in August 2025 was as follows:

Grains: 2.5 million tons (wheat 77%, barley 13%, corn 10%) — up 52% month-on-month;

Oilseeds: 682.4 thousand tons (rapeseed 71%, soybean 28%) –— up 30%;

Vegetable oils: 211.2 thousand tons (sunflower 71%, soybean 17%, rapeseed 12%) — down 59%;

Oilcakes (after oil extraction): 280.4 thousand tons (sunflower 60%, soybean 40%) — down 35%;

Other agricultural products: 322.4 thousand tons — down 2%.
