Astarta announces €40 million investment in soy protein concentrate plant for 2026

Astarta-Kyiv plans to continue investing in the construction of its soy protein concentrate plant in 2026, with about €40 million allocated for the project, Vyacheslav Chuk, the company’s Commercial and Strategic Marketing Director, announced at the Forbes Agro conference in Kyiv.

“Our budget process is not yet finalized. But I can say for sure that we will be investing in the completion of our new soy protein concentrate plant project. That’s about €40 million. The rest will go to maintenance, which will vary depending on our priorities,” he said.

According to Chuk, this project is not only about added value but also about the fact that it is the first facility of its kind in Ukraine.

“It’s a very serious step, as the investment is significant and the decision is important,” he added.
