Ukraine exceeds target for opening new export markets — already 17 this year, State Service says

Since the beginning of 2025, Ukraine has gained access to 17 new export markets for agricultural products, exceeding the government’s planned target, said Serhii Tkachuk, Head of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection (SSUFSCP), Ukrinform reports.

“This year, we set a goal to open 15 new markets for the export of agricultural products. As of now, Ukraine has already opened 17 such markets, so we have met and exceeded the target set by our government,” Tkachuk noted.

In 2025, Ukrainian producers have gained access to 11 new export destinations for 17 product categories.

Specifically:

Albania opened its market for table eggs;

The Eurasian Economic Union — for non-edible animal raw materials used in feed production;

Canada approved imports of table eggs and apples;

China approved imports of marine mammals, wild-caught aquatic products, and peas;
