On November 3 in Chernihiv region, at around 11:00 a.m., a russian UAV exploded in a corn field, killing two employees of the agricultural enterprise Druzhba Nova, a Kernel subsidiary, — men born in 2004 and 1993, Suspilne.Chernihiv outlet reported.

Another man, born in 1973, sustained shrapnel wounds and was taken to a local hospital, where he received medical care.

According to the head of the local community, the explosion was not a targeted attack on the company’s workers, and they did not run over the drone with machinery.

The victims had been harvesting corn and stopped their tractor a few meters away from an unexploded UAV, which then detonated.

The Chernihiv regional police stated that law enforcement officers are currently establishing all the circumstances of the tragedy and will provide a corresponding legal qualification of the incident.
