Corn harvest in Ukraine crossed 13.7 million tons, half of the crop still in the fields

As of November 7, growers in Ukraine harvested 43.6 million tons of grain crops, having threshed 81% of the sown area, according to the Ministry of Economy.
In particular, the harvest includes:
- Wheat — 22.8 million tons, with an average yield of 4.52 t/ha;
- Barley — 5.3 million tons, 2.98 t/ha;
- Peas — 660.7 thousand tons, 2.44 t/ha;
- Corn — 13.7 million tons harvested from 2.2 million hectares, which represents 53% of the planted area, with an average yield of 6.21 t/ha.
As of November 6, the oilseeds campaign reached 16.3 million tons, including:
- Sunflower — 8.7 million tons, with an average yield of 1.89 t/ha;
- Soybeans — 4.3 million tons, 2.35 t/ha;
- Rapeseed — 3.3 million tons, 2.61 t/ha.
Overall, sunflower was harvested from 90% of the planted area, soybeans — 84%, while rapeseed harvesting is complete.
Farms have also dug up 7.9 million tons of sugar beets from 151 thousand hectares, or 76% of the sown area, with an average yield of 52.26 t/ha.
