Corn yields increase over the week as growers harvest more than 20 million tons

As of 21 November, growers in Ukraine harvested 50.1 million tons of new grain and oilseed crops, with 88% of the sown area already threshed, according to data from the Ministry of Economy.

Harvesting continues for:

• corn — 20.8 mln t (71% of sown area),
• sunflower — 9 mln t (92%),
• soybeans — 4.7 mln t (96%).

Sugar beet yields have reached 9.9 mln t (94%).

Corn yields have increased to 6.68 t/ha (compared to 6.59 t/ha a week earlier), sunflower yields remain unchanged at 1.88 t/ha, while soybean yields have slightly decreased to 2.37 t/ha.
