Dnipro-based company begins construction of ready-meal production plant in Kyiv region, investing UAH 200 million
Construction has begun in Kyiv region of a large Neo Food System plant with over 4,000 sq m of production space. The facility will have a projected capacity of 60,000 ready-made meals per day, according to Dmytro Kysylevskyi, coordinator of the “Made in Ukraine” policy initiative.
The factory will produce ready-to-eat chilled meals, as well as pasteurized, sterilized, and deep-frozen products.
The plant is being built by the Sol Union group, which already operates two facilities in Dnipro producing ready-to-eat meals, instant foods, packaged grocery products, sugar and coffee sticks, as well as pasta, sauces, and jams. The group’s total investment in the new project amounts to UAH 200 million.
According to Kysylevskyi, to set up the Neo Food System project, the group purchased an existing industrial building that already has sufficient electricity capacity, water supply, treatment facilities, and wastewater infrastructure. Installation of equipment is scheduled to begin in April 2026.
Production launch is planned for May, with the plant expected to reach full operational capacity by September 2026.
