GROSSDORF begins exporting UAN. Company explains impact on domestic market
GROSSDORF has shipped its first batch of UAN 26+4S. The liquid mineral fertilizer was delivered by road transport to Moldova.
UAN 26+4S currently accounts for around 50% of the company’s sales portfolio, which is why it was selected as the first formula for export.
Given that the company has its own fleet of rail tank cars, GROSSDORF plans to supply trial batches of this product by rail. Over the coming months, the company will test various logistics routes to select the most efficient cooperation model with foreign partners and gradually increase shipment volumes.
GROSSDORF notes that export supplies will not affect the availability of UAN for Ukrainian consumers, as the company’s production capacity currently amounts to up to 4,000 tons per day across its manufacturing facilities.
“We have secured raw material supplies in advance and are confident about the upcoming season, the peak of which we expect in about 10 days,” the statement reads.
