Kernel first in Ukraine to roll out large-scale use of e-Consignment Notes, integrating 1,000 carriers

Kernel has become the first company on the Ukrainian market to implement large-scale use of electronic consignment notes (e-CNs) across its logistics system. According to the agroholding, the unified digital platform now integrates around 1,000 partner trucking companies, 6,000 drivers, as well as more than 400 dispatchers and weighbridge operators.

The company said that the introduction of e-CNs has significantly accelerated financial settlements with carriers. The time between unloading and payment has been reduced severalfold: instead of waiting 5–7 days for paper documents to be delivered, all operations are now handled electronically.

In addition, the time required to verify primary documents for accuracy has decreased by about 80%, while risks associated with the loss of consignment notes have been virtually eliminated. Kernel noted that around 240,000 consignment notes are issued each season solely for the movement of agricultural products between its own warehouses.

Kernel’s Logistics Director Mykola Miroshnychenko said the company invested substantial resources in market training, including helping partner carriers and drivers obtain qualified electronic signatures and set up digital document workflows. According to him, this has made logistics processes in agribusiness faster and more efficient.
