Russia strikes port in Odesa region, containers catch fire

On the night of April 2, a Russian UAV attack caused damage to the infrastructure of one of the ports in Ukraine’s Odesa region, the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority reported.
Warehouse areas, production and storage facilities, as well as administrative buildings came under attack. Fires broke out in several locations. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.
According to the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories, the strike also damaged hangars and set containers on fire.
Emergency crews and all relevant services are working at the scene.
The port continues to operate as usual, taking into account security restrictions.
