Ukraine increases flour imports as exports lag behind last season

In July–March of the 2025/26 MY, Ukraine exported 48.3 thousand tons of wheat flour, down from 49.8 thousand tons in the same period last season, according to the data shared by the Union “Flour Millers of Ukraine” on Facebook.
The share of exports to EU countries decreased to 35%, compared to 44% a year earlier.
The largest importers of Ukrainian flour:
- Moldova — 14.9 thousand tons
- Palestine — 9.2 thousand tons
- Czech Republic — 7.4 thousand tons
- Israel — 4.4 thousand tons
- Spain — 4.2 thousand tons
At the same time, Ukraine is increasing imports of this product. Over the first nine months of the season, wheat flour imports rose to nearly 2.3 thousand tons, up from 1.9 thousand tons in the previous season.
