Ukraine’s poultry meat exports in March hit highest level in over four years

Ukraine exported 43.47 thousand tons of poultry meat in March 2026, up 5.3% from February and the highest level since January 2022, the Ukrainian Poultry Producers Union reported, citing State Statistics Service data.

At the same time, foreign currency revenue fell by 3.8% to $85.05 million. The decline was driven by lower international prices, with the average export price in March standing at $1.96/kg.

The main buyers of Ukrainian poultry meat in Q1 2026 were the Netherlands (18.9%), the United Kingdom (12.4%), Slovakia (10.1%), and the UAE (7.9%).

Exports to EU countries accounted for 35.8% of physical volumes (42.4 thousand tons) during the period, while in monetary terms, they generated nearly half of export revenue (46.4%).
