MHP launches new business line, opens plant in Croatia
MHP is launching a new business line — pet food production. The company has opened the MHP Pet Food plant and introduced a new pet food brand, Proof.
The products will feature high protein content, controlled sourcing of raw materials, and grain-free formulas. The new facility is located in Croatia.
The launch is part of MHP’s international expansion strategy, which the company says helps the group maintain resilience, continue stable operations, and invest in its business in Ukraine.
“We are entering a new industry with pet food, and I am convinced that the entrepreneurial approach, commitment to innovation, and operational efficiency that have driven the group’s development will also help us succeed in this sector. We continue to expand our international business to support MHP’s stable operations in Ukraine,” said Yuriy Kosyuk.
He added that investments in the Ukrainian business remain a priority. During the years of the full-scale war, the company opened a new value-added food production facility in Dnipro, acquired the company Ukrainskyi Myasnyi Hutir for its further development, and continues expanding its biomethane production business.
