Goodvalley Ukraine launches one of Ukraine's largest solar power networks in agricultural sector this year

Goodvalley Ukraine has commissioned a network of solar power plants with a total capacity of 2.659 MW across eight production sites in the western Ivano-Frankivsk region.

According to Rayton, the company that installed the equipment, this is one of the largest distributed solar generation projects implemented in Ukraine’s agricultural sector this year.

The project covers Goodvalley Ukraine’s facilities in Tustan, Mariamampil, Lany, Pidhoroddia, Deliieve, and several other settlements across the region. The largest installation in the network is a 900 kW rooftop solar power plant.

The project utilised the latest-generation high-efficiency Trina Solar N-type panels rated at 610–620 W, along with industrial-grade inverters.

According to Rayton’s estimates, during the peak spring and summer months, the solar power plants will be capable of generating 340,000–380,000 kWh of electricity.

The company expects the new generation capacity to strengthen the energy resilience of its operations and reduce dependence on external power supplies. In addition, the project will help lower Goodvalley Ukraine’s carbon footprint.
