Russian drones attacked two civilian vessels navigating through Ukraine’s maritime corridor in the Black Sea on June 19. One seafarer was killed, and five crew members were injured as a result of the strikes, according to the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA).
The attack targeted two foreign-flagged civilian vessels operating in the Black Sea.
A crew member aboard a Panama-flagged vessel was killed in the strike. Two other sailors were injured, one of whom is in critical condition.
Russian drones also attacked a vessel flying the flag of Saint Kitts and Nevis. Three crew members on board sustained minor injuries.
