Two civilian vessels sailing through Ukraine’s maritime corridor were damaged in a Russian attack on June 10, according to the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.
The vessels, sailing under the flags of Panama and Barbados, sustained damage while transiting the corridor.
One of the ships was en route to a port of Big Odesa to load metal products. The other, already loaded with wheat, was departing a Ukrainian port.
A fire broke out on board one of the vessels following the attack, but the crew managed to extinguish it promptly.
