Russian guided aerial bombs strike Chornobaivska poultry farm where nearly 5 million chickens died at full-scale war start

Russian struck the Chornobaivska poultry farm in the southern Kherson region with guided aerial bombs (KABs). The facility is part of the Ukrlandfarming group.

Emergency response efforts are underway as authorities assess the extent of the damage. According to preliminary estimates, the losses amount to hundreds of millions of dollars.

At the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, during the occupation of Kherson region, the poultry farm was completely cut off from electricity and blockaded. Unable to deliver feed or maintain operations, the company lost 4.7 million birds.

The company also said that during the occupation, Russian troops looted the facility, stealing modern equipment and vehicles while severely damaging its infrastructure.
