U.S. engineering firm Agrico Sales to support development of Odesa region ports

The Odesa Region Development Agency has signed a memorandum of partnership, cooperation and coordination with U.S. engineering company Agrico Sales, Inc.

One of the key areas of cooperation will be the development of port, logistics and grain-handling infrastructure, drawing on international expertise and financing instruments.

The partners will also work to promote the region's investment opportunities internationally, organise B2B meetings with potential investors, prepare investment projects in line with international standards, and engage international experts to assess promising projects.

Particular attention will be given to the development of maritime logistics and export infrastructure, as well as identifying financing opportunities through international financial institutions, export credit agencies and U.S. government institutions.

According to the agency, the partnership is expected to create new opportunities to modernise port infrastructure in Odesa region, strengthen its export capacity, and attract U.S. technologies and investment for strategically important reconstruction projects.
