Russian jet-powered drone attacks Prometey grain elevator in Mykolaiv

Russia attacked a grain elevator operated by agricultural holding Prometey in Mykolaiv with a jet-powered drone on the morning of September 9. The drone struck the facility at around 6:30 a.m., causing significant damage.
According to the company, a reconnaissance drone was detected over its facility throughout the day on September 8, one day before the attack. Prometey believes it may have been conducting preliminary reconnaissance of the facility ahead of the strike.
The attack damaged the production complex for receiving, storing, drying and loading grain. The Russian drone damaged a grain storage facility, grain dryer, warehouses, a truck weighbridge and the laboratory building. The company’s fleet of agricultural machinery was also damaged.
No employees were injured in the attack.
Prometey specialists are currently documenting the damage and assessing the losses incurred by the company. Prometey said it would continue operating and plans to restore the damaged facilities.
