Oil refining plant under construction in Ternopil region, production to follow

In the Chortkiv-West industrial park in Ternopil region, equipment installation for the first phase of a new oil refining plant with a capacity of 50 tons per day has been completed, Dmytro Kysylevskyi, coordinator of the Made in Ukraine policy, wrote on Facebook.

Production is scheduled to start by the end of 2026. The company is currently installing the building’s external elements and landscaping the surrounding area.

Investment in the first phase of the plant amounts to UAH 25 million. It includes an oil refining workshop and a bottling facility.

In the second phase, the investor plans to invest another UAH 50 million to build a facility for processing sunflower seeds into oil. Total planned investment in the two phases of the project therefore amounts to UAH 75 million. Once the plant is operational, 123 jobs are expected to be created.

A.V. Export Import, which became the first company to join the Chortkiv-West industrial park, is the investor. The park is also currently holding final negotiations on the relocation of two companies from Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv regions.

In 2026, Chortkiv-West also began construction of water supply networks with financial support from the Ukrainian-Swiss UCORD project. The development of the park’s electricity networks is being financed by Ukraine’s State Regional Development Fund. The Chortkiv community also plans to seek state co-financing for the construction of an access road and a road interchange.
