Three companies dominate the refined sunflower oil production in Ukraine in 2017

The Kernel company leads among the producers of refined sunflower oil in Ukraine in 2017 holding the market share of 18.1%.
The top-5 producers of refined sunflower oil includes:
- Kernel — 18.1%;
- Bunge — 17.4%;
- Delta Wilmar CIS — 14.6%;
- Oliyar — 9.3%;
- Svetlovodsk oil extraction plants (Viktor & K and Hydrosend) — 9.1%.
According to the State Statistics Service, in 2017 the Ukrainian manufacturers produced 723.4 thou. tons of refined sunflower oil.
According to the USDA May report, Ukraine produced 6.3 million tons of sunflower oil (34.7% of world output) in 2016/2017 and exported 5.8 million tons (56.2% of world exports). But it's mostly raw oil. At the same time, Ukraine exports raw oil to more than 100 countries, and refined — only to 20 countries.
