The Ministry of Infrastructure will purchase weight and dimensional complexes for 117 million UAH

The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine transferred 117 million USD to Ukrtransbezpeka for the purchase of 78 mobile weight and dimensional complexes according to СTS.  The Ministry of  Infrastructure informed that Ukraine was provided with the funding in terms of the European Commission program Support to implementation of the transport strategy of Ukraine.

The beginning of bidding in the ProZorro system will be announced after public adoption of technical requirements to the weight and dimensional complexes.

The Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelian believes that there will be more than 100 weight and dimensional complexes in Ukraine in spring. This was announced on the Lviv RSA website.

"Today there are 27 weight and dimensional complexes in Ukraine. We hope to complete tender procedures in December. As a result we will have over 100 weight and dimensional complexes in spring. This will enable to provide new methods of control on Ukrainian roads. We are also working now on the ability of  weight and dimensional complexes to control the speed of the vehicles automatically as well as weigh them", he said.

In the past Vladimir Klimenko expressed opinion that the 70 weight and dimensional complexes which are to be purchased cost over 400 million UAH.
