Ukrspirt privatization will increase the budget by 6 billion UAH — Ivanchuk

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Policy will ensure rapid introduction and passing the draft law on the Ukrspirt plants privatization.

This was informed by the Chairman of the Committee Andrew Ivanchuk according to New Time. He pointed out that budget may receive additional 5-6 billion UAH after the privatization of alcohol sector.

"The government proposes to split edible alcohol producers into two groups. The first group will include producers of edible alcohol, and the second — industrial alcohol and bioethanol manufacturers. A complete sale of assets of the sector is proposed. It is expected that the law will come into effect on a phased basis. First, the export will be done by the government only. By 2020 we will have complete market liberalization", said Andrey Ivanchuk.

We would like to remind that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine supported the bill "On the demonopolization and implementation of market principles of the alcohol industry functioning" initiated by the head of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy Taras Kutovоy.
