74 Ukrainian settlements were released from ASF quarantine

As of July 21, 2017, 74 Ukrainian settlements were released from ASF quarantine measures.
This was reported on the website of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
"Today in Ukraine only 6 regions out of 24 are in ASF quarantine: Kiev, Chernigov, Poltava, Cherkassy, Kharkov and Zakarpattya. Accordingly, quarantine restrictions have been removed from other regions and the regions are considered safe with regard to ASF", informed Boris Kobal, the Director of the Department of Food Safety and Veterinary during the Board meeting of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
Let us remind that since the beginning 2017 in Ukraine, 85 (75 — domestic, 10 — wild) cases of ASF virus were registered for the first time on the territory of Ternopol, Donetsk, Kherson, Dnepropetrovsk, and Ivano-Frankovsk regions.
