Alexander Gerega to increase the land bank of his agro-companies to 300 thousand hectares?

MP, co-owner of the Vinnytsia Agrarian and Industrial Group, Alexander Gerega, plans to increase the land bank of agro-companies controlled by him to 300 thousand hectares in several years.

This is reported by AgroPolit.com.

The source notes that while the land bank of these companies is slightly more than 100 thousand hectares. They are concentrated in 3 areas: Vinnytsia (61 thousand hectares), Khmelnitsky (more than 11 thousand hectares), Kiev (28 thousand hectares).

"These regions will be the key ones in the further development of the land strategy of the company," the source of AgroPolit.com reported.

Let us remind, that the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine allowed the closed non-diversified venture corporate investment fund Oferent to acquire a stake in the authorized capital of Agroholding 2012. The ultimate beneficiary of the fund is Galina and Alexander Gerega. In July 2017, it became known that Alexander Gerega acquired 80% of Vinnytsia agro-industrial group.
