Risoil S. A. began supplying forage wheat to Bangladesh

Risoil S. A. is one of the first to export fodder wheat to Bangladesh in this marketing year.

This is reported on the company's Facebook page.

It is noteworthy that the forage wheat is supplied as Fit for human consumption.

Usually wheat is exported to Bangladesh by India, Canada, Australia, Ukraine and Russia.

"This and last seasons, India itself has become wheat importer, due to the crop failure in the last few years. Due to the drought in Australia, USDA yield estimates are 11 million tons less than last year. There is a similar situation in Canada: crop failure (-5.2 million tons) and prices are higher than in the CIS countries. Russia mainly exports wheat with a higher protein content (from 11.5 to 12.5%)," the message says.

The company notes that Ukraine has become almost the only supplier of fodder wheat to South Asia this season.

In 2017/18 MY, Risoil S.A. plans to increase the export of agricultural products by 1.5-2 times.
