Risoil Terminal to increase cargo handling volume up to 4.5 million tons after dredging in Chernomorsk
The Risoil Terminal company will to increase the volume of cargo handling up to 4.5 million tons per year (at current 1.5 million tons) after carrying out dredging operations at the port of Chernomorsk.
It is informed on the company's official Facebook page that export freight flow should be at least 3 million tons per year.
"In the case of successful carrying-out of work, the approach channel will be enlarged to 16 meters, and the operating water area of the 1st bucket of the Suhoi Liman — up to 15 meters. This will allow safe entry of large capacity vessels into the port, multiply budget incomings of all levels, and increase the volume of cargo handling of all port operators of Chernomorsk," the message says.
At the moment, the USPA is carrying out dredging operations at the port of Yuzhny.
