Ukraine exported 125 thousand tons of barley

During last week (October 25-29), Ukrainian exporters shipped about 400 thousand tons of wheat and 125 thousand tons of barley.

This is reported by Agritel.com.

"The main buyer is Egypt, however, we note that Asian countries also show great interest in commodities of Ukrainian origin, namely Saudi Arabia," analysts say.

It is noted that 324k tons of wheat, 13k tons of barley and 150k tons of corn are shipped from Russia.

Reference: Ukraine from the beginning of 2017/18 MY as of September 27, 2017, exported 9.69 million tons of grain, which is 202 thousand tons less than the same period last year.
