VIMAL company will open the third plant for the production of starch in Chernigov region in September 2018.

The new plant is being built with the technical support of the Danish company SiccaDania and will become one of the most modern production facilities in Europe.
"In autumn 2018, we are launching a new production to meet the needs of our customers, as well as to implement a project for deep processing of potatoes. We are sure that the future of Ukrainian potato farming is in the extensive processing of potato," said the company's director Sergey Samonenko.
According to him, the launch of a new starch line will increase the total revenue of potato producers by more than 10 times. Further plans for the production of potato protein and dietary fiber will allow to deepen the processing of potatoes and receive products with even greater benefit for both potato producers — project participants, and for the enterprise itself.
"After the start of starch production in 2018, we plan to launch a plant that will receive protein from potato juice, produce dry potato fibers and liquid organic fertilizer in 2020," said VIMAL founder Viktor Lazar.
