The cost of agricultural production in Ukraine increased by 23% for the 8 months of 2017

The cost of agricultural production in Ukraine in January-August 2017 increased by 22.8% compared with the same period in 2016.

This is reported by the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.

According to SSSU, the production cost of products of vegetable origin during the reporting period increased by 24.3%, and livestock — by 18.8%.

It is reported that in August 2017, if compared to July, the costs of agricultural production decreased by 1.4%. In particular, the total cost of crop production in August decreased by 1.2%, and livestock — by 2%.

Expenses for material and technical resources of industrial origin, used in agriculture, for 8 months of 2017 increased by 27.4% compared to the same period last year. If compared to July, the August index rose by 0.4%.

Earlier it was reported that for 7 months of 2017 expenditures on agricultural production increased by 23.2% compared to the same period a year earlier.
