Cabinet of Ministers allocated additional UAH 224 million for the support of gardening

At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on September 4, the decision was made to allocate the additional UAH 224.3 million for state support of horticulture.

This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.

It is noted that the relevant change was added to the disposal of the Cabinet of Ministers dated March 1, 2017 No. 124 "On the allocation of funds provided for in the state budget in 2017 to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food for financial support of agricultural producers."

Before making the decision, the expenses were UAH 75 million. As of today, UAH 299.3 million have been allocated for the implementation of this program.

"Such allocations will allow to settle accounts payable under this program fully, which amounts to UAH 231.8 million, and the remainder — to direct to the state stimulation of the creation of new plantations and the development of industrial infrastructure," the report informs.
