Ukraine exported 10 million tons of grain since the beginning of 2017/18 MY

As of October 4, 2017, Ukraine exported 10.49 million tons of grains from the beginning of 2017/18 MY, which is 312k tons less than for the same period of the previous year.

This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

At the same time, wheat exports decreased by 719k tons to 6.15 million tons during the reporting period. Barley exports amounted to 3.1 million tons, which is 94k tons less than in the same period last year.

The volume of corn export in comparison to the same period last year increased by 527k tons and amounted to 1.22 million tons.

It was earlier reported, that the forecast for corn production in Ukraine in 2017/18 MY is reduced to 27.5 million tons (─1 million tons).
