In Kiev region corn yield is at the level of 5-6 t/ha

Agrarians of the Kiev region report that corn yield amounts to 5-6 t/ha, which is less than the indicator of 2016 by 25-30%.

This is reported by APK-Inform.

At the same time, some agrarians report the achievement of this indicator at the level of 9 tons/ha.

According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, by October 6, corn in the Kiev region is harvested on 49.7 thousand hectares (19% of the forecast), 268.2 thousand tons of grain are harvested with an average productivity of 5.4 tons/ha.

Earlier it was reported that agrarians of the Kirovograd region report the current corn yield at the level of 4.5-4.7 tons/ha, which is about 2 times lower than last year's level.
