Forecast of corn production in Ukraine in 2017/18 MY reduced to 27 million tons

The forecast for corn production in Ukraine in 2017/18 MY is reduced by 0.5 million tons to 27 million tons.

This is reported by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA).

Compared with 2016/17 MY, corn production will decrease by 1 million tons (28 million tons in 2016/17 MY).

It is noted that corn export from Ukraine is estimated at 21.5 million tons, which is 0.5 million tons less than the previous forecast.

Reference: the forecast of grain production in Ukraine is raised to 63.2 million tons compared to 61.7 million tons in August.
