From the beginning of MY 2017/18 Ukraine exported 13 million tons of grain

Ukraine from the beginning of MY 2017/18 as of October 25, 2017 exported 12.92 million tons of grain, which is by 110 thousand tons less than in the same period last year.

This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

Export of wheat decreased by 85 thousand tons to 7.9 million tons, and barley — by 152 thousand tons to 3.43 million tons.

It is noted that the export of corn in comparison with the same period last year increased by 138 thousand tons and amounted to 1.54 million tons.

At the same time, exports of rye amounted to 6.2 thousand tons, which is 6.1 thousand tons more than in the same period last year.

Reference: the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and the grain market participants determined the volumes of export wheat in 2017/18 MY at the level of 16.5 million tons.
