Corn production forecast in Ukraine in MY 2017/18 is reduced by 2 MT

The forecast for corn production in Ukraine in MY 2017/18 is reduced by 2 million tons to 25 million tons compared with October forecast.

United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) informs that corn production will decrease by 3 million tons compared with MY 2016/17.

Export of corn from Ukraine is estimated at 20.5 million tons, which is 1 million tons less than the previous forecast, and by 0.8 million tons lower than the level of MY 2016/17.

Reference: the forecast of grain production in Ukraine is raised to 63.2 million tons compared to 61.7 million tons in August.
