ViOil increases container shipment of meal

ViOil Industrial Group increased the share of shipments in 40-ft containers to diversify meal shipment and deliver products in time.

It is noted that the containers are loaded directly at Vinnitsa Oil and Fat Production Plant, so that the meal doesn’t have to be transhipped at the port. Containers are delivered on platform railcars to the Plant.

"Containers give multiple advantages at once for ViOil," says Bohdan Koroviy, Head of Finished Product Sales at ViOil Industrial Group. "Firstly, we preserve the quality of our products. Secondly, containerised meal shipments enable us to avoid additional logistical costs related to meal transhipment at the port. Thirdly, we are less dependent on railcar fleet availability."

ViOil Group exports most of its meal to Asian countries.
