Bühler introduced the elevator optical sorter SORTEX A at the Agritechnica 2017 agricultural machinery exhibition.

"This is our classic optical sorter. For the reasons of compactness, we did not set the largest sample. This is a machine that sorts grain by color, and other crops by color and size. This is a very popular machine that has proved itself well in Ukraine," says Aleksandr Ocheretnyi.

It is noted that, basically, these machines are used by mill companies. According to the representative of the company, in Ukraine there are about 50 such machines.

"It's a compact machine. They are of different types. This is single-row, but there can be up to 6 rows. Now we have a very interesting case with nuts, which were actively exported from Ukraine. The kernel of the nut (white, black) is sorted by color and size through different channels," says Aleksandr Ocheretnyi.

Rainer Kerschbaum, representative of the sales division of the Bühler automation systems, told about the new system of spare parts ordering and after-sales service.

"Customer service is significantly simplified. Regular and new customers can order all spare parts and necessary equipment of the company online," notes Rainer Kerschbaum.
